Just a quick update. My trip will not begin until July 17th. I wanted to "get on the board" with an intro to make sure that I'm doing this blog thing right.
I will be following the path of the 1st Amendment from concept, drafting, debate and ratification. I will follow the path from New York to Philadelphia, and then from Philadelphia to Washington DC. There will be mention of the Virginia State House, but did not have enough days to work a 4th stop into the trip.
I'm making final travel plans involving trains, planes, cars, buses, and a LOT of walking. Stay tuned, we'll get started in about 5 weeks. I hope you enjoy the journey.
